Please share... don't get yrself burnt with those travel agency in "goodpond". Yes,, there is such a fare. But when you go and redeem, they will tell you this date full, that date full. Must top-up $$$ to travel on this date. In the end, unhappy ending.......maybe you will end up with "toothless case dept" in oreder to get back the refund. Anyway, this Hongkong promo is under HSBC credit card. The NETT cost travel agency (Supplier/Wholesaler) is having is S$150 + S$79(taxes/fuel) = S$229 per person (Booking on N Class) Booking period : 17Jun2015 to 14Jul 2015 Travelling dates : 17Jun2015 to 30Apr2016 There are also peak period dates and black-out dates Good luck.... I hardly go to groupon except for some restaurant deal. It's a scam...You will always ask to top up from $50 to $290 regardless of date you try to redeem. Usually staff ticket will be cheaper, becos they don't charge fuel surcharge Anyway, Hongkong prices is always around below S$300 by CX. Today HSBC, other day UOB, DBS, Maybank......so and so. BanCoe Hypersonic July 8, 2015 Share July 8, 2015 I called up the Agent on the Groupon advert on the very day it was first advertised, the man whom picked up the phone only knows how to say the additional premium or top up only no basic flight price available at all, I had no choice and booked direct to CX using HSBC card and i paid $330 for good timing flights in September; I might get it cheaper by maybe $10-15 from that guy but if any cock up , i will be at his mercy, I don't mind paying additional $10-15/- for peace of mind with Carrier directly Knowing that Groupon will take a cut from the Agent for sure and with so competitive pricing I wonder what the Agent earns finally; Nowadays after hearing all this bad news of late of Agents closing down - dont want to take the risk ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
