Vinceng Turbocharged July 10, 2015 Share July 10, 2015 I also keep a far distance form taxis. Kiss their backside, will be gone case. Taxi companies, particularly Comfort don't practise changing worn tyres in pairs. I have seen Comfort Sonata taxi with 3 new tyres (China made Westlake brand) and 1 old almost worn out tyre, Yokohama brand.

Taxi companies, particularly Comfort don't practise changing worn tyres in pairs. I have seen Comfort Sonata taxi with 3 new tyres (China made Westlake brand) and 1 old almost worn out tyre, Yokohama brand. This is more dangerous then all 4 almost worn tyre as 3 new one old = car more likely to lose control due to the lesser grip in the one worn tyre. Gg to the taxi.
Gizmore Supercharged July 11, 2015 Share July 11, 2015 Heavy vehicle with speed limit should have a physical speed limiter in the engine very much like our SAF 5-tonne truck.
Toothiewabbit Supersonic July 11, 2015 Share July 11, 2015 Many countries' heavy vehicles no speed limiter. e.g. Mixer trucks doing 100 and above on Taiwan's 2 lanes highways
Xers007 Supercharged July 11, 2015 Share July 11, 2015 No ABS and the rear drum brake just locked up and causing the fishtail, he is lucky the lorry never flip. That is why you never let such vehicle follow close behind you as it can never stop fast enough should you need E brake.

Keira 4th Gear July 12, 2015 Share July 12, 2015 This one not pickup truck lah, just a light lorry. The real pickup appear at 0.42. This road design also very stupid, 2-3 traffic lights within 500 m distance. Drive there also damn pek chek in the morning.

This road design also very stupid, 2-3 traffic lights within 500 m distance. Drive there also damn pek chek in the morning. I think the Sembawang Airbase junction is one that the LTA is thinking of revising. This junction is the bottle-neck and definitely not designed for today's heavy traffic condition due to the added population and new homes in Yishun. However, the modification and road widening at the Yishun Ave 2 and Lentor junction is well-implemented and reduced waiting time by quite a lot in the morning/evening peak hour.
