Showrooms reports, anyone?

I saw in today's newspaper VW bery the bery need business. Slash price like nobody business by 10K - 20K across their product line.

Any other brands trying to grab or hold on to market share?

I was at Leng Kee Subaru showroom on Tuesday afternoon. I was quite surprised on the people there. Need to wait for turn to test drive the Forester XT. Even though it was weekday.

My guess.

Cat A : $59k

Cat B: $68k

Need to queue on Weekday afternoon for test drive [sweatdrop]

:a-panic: better check out the crowds this long weekend :lll._.:

Thanks then. I will stay far far away from the showrooms.

Looks like the big 5 will get even bigger.

BTW, lots of bulls earlier in the week out to play. So potential for further slide is there. This weekend, most dealers will be slashing price to draw in the crowd. If not, then we know they have enough orders for this last round of COE before the next larger batch next auction.

People who give up car ownership and people who renew COEs are the minority

Majority are actively looking to replace their cars

That's why showrooms are crowded

😂

I think COE would drop further with ppl speculating rather than rushing to buy one now. If got opportunity why not wait.

Agree... with the lower than expected release of additional COE, price will stabilize around range of 53K - 61K. (see my post on replacement ratio).

Won't see big movements again until Nov when they announce the next tranche of COE numbers. Should see another increase of 20% COE available for Nov - Jan, which should bring close to the magical 2000 Cat A COEs per bid. Huat Ah!
