time to turn super red IF the buyer waits up to the idea that they may really loose they rice bowl due to china economy, the Singapore Manfacturing and other neighbour problems that may spill over to Singapore.

But as usual, the typical buyer would only think of not worrying too much as Singapore is Safe.

I think, go side way, either go up by 1 K or go down by 1 K

time to turn green??

Time to buy now & lock in the car price.. before COE up? 3 weekends of orders in hand plus last few rounds of backlog and coe decrease in this next bid = higher demand push up price? But then again history seen here seem to put our logical assumptions into upside down too.. [laugh]

As always, as long as you can afford and is comfortable with the price, just buy.. 1-2k coe price move either way wont hurt much esp spread over 10 yrs ... unless major political earthquake next week cause the coe n all other assets values to plummet.... :a-rip:

Turbocharged

We buy and hold stocks , we like to see green.

We want to buy COE , we also like to see green.

But in reality , if stock green , most likely COE will red.

And since the past few weeks stock market has been a sea of red , I think this round COE will green.

Factors pushing it red:

- 3 weeks since last bidding

- lower quota than last bidding

- buyers getting new cars for Christmas & new year

Factors pushing it green:

- buyers distracted by elections

- stock market in red

- buyers who are pantang abt 7th month

This round should be up by 2-3K since the last bid lot of unsuccessful bids. By the way the stock market is already recovered so don't think any impact on the car buying decision.

I think this week buyers don't have the mood to buy car. Many are focus on election.

Cat A - $55,888

Cat B - $60,888

Hoping COE will go down this time round... Cat A $1, Cat B $1, Cat E $1. [;)] Don't say I am dreaming, cuz I believe that I am not the only one dreaming. There are alot of self bidders too, which self bidding can push down the COE price I reckon. And we all will continue to dream and hope that COE will go down to $1. [laugh][laugh]

My prediction was wrong last round as I have anticipated that the price will drop.

This round ..... new models ... CLA Shooting brake, X1 .... LCI 1 and 3 series .... plus 3 weeks to collect orders ... UP this round for all CATs
