5 years is for engine, car battery is 2 years.

I myself wanted to do some electrical ones also... but temporarily now all run thru cigarette socket... will ask KMC servicing when i go for my 1k servicing and see what is their answer...

The HU is also 2 years.

If we add amplifier, speakers and sub woofer, will it void the warranty for HU?

Yup, AA = Android Auto.

Tweeters are small speakers specially designed to play high frequency sounds near the highest range that is audible to the human ear. They enhance the audio listening experience.

The AA HU cannot add amp or sub. No pre-outs or subouts. I also damn sian... cannot use back my own active sub... but the HU with GPS/CD/DVD player got preouts and subouts.

The Warranty booklet say is 3 years... but I have doubts about it...

No pre-outs or sub-out is indeed very the sian. But can still use a speaker to line level converter...not ideal SQ wise, but should still be ok for the active sub.

Anybody here bought Insurance from Direct Asia?

I’m getting conflicting information from them and my SE.

My SE says buy the insurance to start early then when the car is registered, call insurer and ask them to move the start date later to coincide with the registration date. Cannot buy Insurance with a later date than registration date because (obviously) car can’t be registered without insurance. Seems to be normal approach to me.

And then DirectAsia says I should buy at a later date then when the registration date is finalised, call them and they’ll shift the insurance start date earlier. Cannot be the other way around (ie. can’t buy earlier and then change the insurance start date later when the car is registered). I think this ridiculous...
