seems like everyone have the similar experience with different cost

many factors will affect your cost like

location (you go JB sure dirt cheap may be RM20 can liao)

some shop may have standard charge regardless of size

some may charge base on the size of wheel / tyre or car

some may charge base on relationship or membership

the bottom line is you must be happy with the job not cost

the cost became $60 ... the uncle had to charge $40 for tyre swap. simple on, off rims is $20

if you stay near Northern , go to JB is dirty cheap (cheap labour there)

just called Stamford...$30 per tyre, that means 1 car is $120. 2 cars is $240.

$45 and $240 100% very sure is different work.

best is drive them to shop and tell them exactly whats your expectation or want, over the phone can be very inaccurate for work like this

exp like swopping of 14inch wheel and 20inch could be diff

I swap my 15inch tyres at this shop at Kaki Bukit. The boss charge me $10 per tyre. Best part is that he use a fully automatic tyre changer. He claim that the machine can change a 26 inch tyres in 2 mins and so he can charge a lower rate because he is more efficient and precise and don't worry about damaging customer's wheels as the machine is touchless. Guys who wanted to swap big wheels or run flat can consider going there. Price should be lower as it's automatic. Moreover, if you are using expensive rims, the machine will be a plus point. most of the issue is human error not the machine

Company can invest heavily on the MC , but is handle by incompetence staff, the result also not good
