Make: Hyundai Tucson

Mileage: 2k plus

Already done the 1k servicing n for the past 2 days, realised that the engine's sound is loud (rough) when pressing the oil.

Kindly advise what is the cause of it cause I wanna know more before going back to AD.

Thanks & Regards

Hypersonic

2k mileage still under warranty. Just go back to AD and check. No need to be shy. Make them work for their money.

Isnt that normal aka reving the engine? The more u press the accelerator, the louder the engine.

I could be wrong here, but after 1000km ... They usually change to a Lighter Viscosity EO ... And this can increase the sound level of the engine, but not dramatically ...

Can get a decibel meter or download the app for decibel meter and make a comparison.

Record ur own car's level during idle and acceleration. Then go test drive the showroom car and record the level.

This should be a good comparison.

That is very normal. Our cars are designed to feel their increased presence day by day.....wait wait, Hyundais are serviced elsewhere, not PML though...Sorry my post is irrelevant!

On a serious note, if noise has got increased, go to service centre immediately. It is not normal for such a new car!
