Anyone knows that any credit card that covers oversea car rental protection if you book using that card? This way can save up the daily insurance coverage for renting a car in oversea... but I don't know is it comprehensive enough or not.... any thoughts?

Anyone got any idea on this? I've tried google but can't find any info except Visa and Mastercard by default include insurance coverage if you charge the rental to their card but it's only applicable to US-issued card.

I don't think so.
But you can buy travel insurance to cover excess related to car rental insurance.

IMO it's the car hirer's insurance excess cover which is a big take on.
You can buy external insurance to cover this excess and thereby reduce outlay. as suggested in above post.

for insurance excess, please also read the T&C carefully. Don't anyhow rent from kuching kurap people, make sure it is a registered car rental agency. In ang mo company not a problem as usually will rent from the established companies but Asian countries many are private cars
