Just traveling on the MRT from Jurong East to Clementi and looking out the window when crossing Sungei Ulu Pandan and I'm sure I saw a crocodile swimming in the water.

It must have been 1.2m to 1.5m long.

Was I seeing things or not???

Saw it for maybe two seconds so no time.

Also see guys fishing etc on the river bank.

Isn't that dangerous with crocodiles around?

Are there any warning signs posted???

Good call.

Could well have been this.

I thought at the time the tail looked a bit too long.

Jurong lake has crocodile?

Got such a long tail monitor lizard?

Jurong lake got 2 crocs or more ....

Evening at the side of the lake along Cooperation Road, can see peoples watching out for them .....

I ever saw one whilst evening walk from Chinese garden to Lakeside MRT using the bridge connecting the garden. It was floating in the lake below the bridge. :that-dood-is-up-to-something:

Yes...very likely.

Though both share similar reptilian movement, the monitor lizard tend to be more visible on surface vs croc which prefer to remain submege when swimming.
