TameDriver Twincharged October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 (edited) Perhaps the talk would include advise to go for pretrip checks; just like what we should do for our cars. Edited October 22, 2015 by TameDriver
Caravan 5th Gear October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 most accidents go there? You would expect mortuaries to organize such talks too? I thought this falls under road safety, so normally it's TP, AA, etc automotive or traffic related departments who would have interests in organizing such things. Trauma can occur in various ways, so are they going to organize talks on workplace safety? Don't get me wrong, I am not against this, just curious why. Toothiewabbit Supersonic October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 (edited) I know aleadie. With topics like, "Motor Vehicle Crashes: The Untold Story" and "Surviving a Car Crash", its simply tailored just to do one thing and one thing only. That is to scare the shxt out of you so that you won't eber end up in hospital lo. . Edited October 22, 2015 by Toothiewabbit
TameDriver Twincharged October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 It's supported by AVIS Car Rental. Year end holiday season is a stressful time for most people; planning & going on a trip is a stressful event by itself. So, TTSH may recommend that one should go for pre-trip checks like: -Cardio clearance to detect a potential heart attack, -Eye Vision Tests, -Neurological Tests for reflexes & response, -advice on preventing Deep Vein Thrombosis by Vascular Dr, -psychological support by their Mental Health team; after all, taking a holiday trip could be stressful (Ok ok, this last one is just a joke). Anyway, whatever the intention for this talk organised by TTSH, I'm sure it would benefit drivers greatly.

Sdf4786k Twincharged October 22, 2015 Share October 22, 2015 (edited) Perhaps the talk would include advise to go for pretrip checks; just like what we should do for our cars. more then that. Maybe should have insurance company include tips on what to do and what is not covered. Should include MUST have phone number and how not to get con by tow truck drivers, stage accident as well as nearest hospital for trips along the highway. Extraction of injured such as SOS services may be of relevance, Embassy contact as well as number to dial should be at hand. Just hope its not a sales exercise to introduce overseas check up service by TTSH. Wonder if they will list Top 10 accident spot on the NSHW.
