Hi guys I know that this is not the correct place to post but as a newbie, I can't ask much question in the maintenance and repair section.

Just would like to ask do you guys know what is happening to my car? When i release my accelerator and when the speed drop to around 80km/h, i can feel the engine brake kick in. Any idea what is wrong here? Lack of Gear oil?

One of my company rental cars use to have this problem, but not sure what the rental car workshop did to the car during servicing.

So sorry about the posting done here.

Turbocharged

The engine senses that you are trying to slow down hence the engine brake .

It is perfectly normal and not a problem .

Thanks guys for your feedback. @F355 your comments are the same with my workshop.

But this is not the usual engine brake, it only happens around 80-90km/hr and it is getting worse nowadays. And based on my intuition, something is wrong somewhere.

My company car used to have that problem, but after servicing, the problem is gone. They must have adjust something, which I am not able to find out.

@Angcheek, yup i am surprised i can post here....lol
