The new logic is "Install ERP, you come, increase ERP, you continue to come."

So why not continue to increase or maintain until you don'tcome?

Cheng hu is good one, like one minnistar say, you can have $3 carrot cake or $15 carrot cake.

No one ask us to drive through ERP during ERP timing mah.  :TT_TT:

Lol, well said hahahaa  [laugh]

I have this suggestion for the long time.  It is based on rolling 3 mths average travelling speed.

$0:        < 10km/h slower than legal speed limit

$10:      11km/h - 20km/h slower than legal speed limit

$20:       21km/h - 30km/h slower than legal speed limit

$30        31km/h - 40km/h slower than legal speed limit

$40        41km/h - 50km/h slower than legal speed limit

$50        51km/h or more slower than legal speed limit

Most important is after paying, there must be results. A bit dulan to pay ERP, but super dulan when pay liao and still jam like crazy.

Cheng hu always tell you nobody force you to do anything de, you always have a choice. Like MRT and bus crowded, you can choose not to board, and if find ERP expensive, you can choose not to drive through it. Lol.

Will you pay $10 per gantry?

I would gladly pay it - if I really needed to be say in the CBD area for something important and this $10 ensures a smooth traffic flow en route.

A toll must have a level of deterrence - then it makes sense and becomes more effective. What really irks me are the 50 cent and $1 toll

Looks like dynamic road pricing is coming to ERP too!!!

Make sure everyone drives above the speed limit to pay less toll. [laugh]

Try telling that to the self righteous pigs who hog the roads.

Just yesterday I came upon a self righteous pig in a Mustang, driving on lane 1 @ 60km/h, during evening rush hour from Queensway all the way till Dunearn area till I got fed up and switched to other lanes.

But after that, there will probably be no more cars in CBD...

Businesses how to run?

Don't worry, Uber will come up with UBERcargo.

I believe it's already being planned.. the shipping industry is also ripe for disruption

Think the highest charge at CTE during the peak hour is already $6 liao, and yet the road still quite jam.

$1+$6 so it's $7.

Nobody bothered by the rates. Bothered one gone working very early.

Or after 9am
