every erp beep just increase my yearning for GE 2015/2016.

At least during the start of satellite sys, I may benefit since my mileage per year only 12-13k/yr. As per ERP has shown, may save initially but as the plan unfolds, surely end up pay more & more..

it's a 2007 article. 6 years later, things has changed.

perhaps without ERP, the traffic may travel faster since drivers wun have to worry about having enuff amount in their cash card

pap promise us things can change?

if suak suka promise, then vote for them for what?

go work earlier.. !!

If everyone goes to work earlier, they will say traffic congestion, and move the time earlier.

In other words, ERP always chase after money.

If 10,000 vehicle have to use that road, 10,000 vehicle have to use that road.

It doesn't matter what time.

Traffic doesn't reduce.

It's just how much they want to pay.

I do not mind paying if lta openly admits that this increase meant their multi million dollars cte widening project failed to elevate traffic congestion ...

i beg to differ

in another context, if 100 wanna swim at the same time, u tink the pool got space?

if we spread out 10 ppl swimming at 1 hour interval, do u tink the pool is less congested and more enjoyable to swim?

going back to the road usage context. The problem here is that all schools start around the same time. All office workers start around the same time. So there is no way to spread out the usage evenly.

My point is, the time matters. Traffic wun reduce but congestion will. This will in turn increase traffic speed, consumes lesser petrol and make the driving experience better.
