Drive shaft operating angle and vibrations

Anybody knows any Singapore workshop that can check and measure the above.

Thank you.

Is yours a Front drive or Rear drive?

My workshop didn't do a good job when the serviced the drive shaft on my rear drive lexus, and there are strong vibrations during acceleration.

Brought it to them again, and they managed to solve it. Guess its how the bolts are secured.

For front drive, sometimes its due to bad knocks on the wheel, leading to a damaged shaft. Such shafts should be replaced, as it causes heavy wear and tear on other components

For drive shaft there are 2 universal coupling on each end and there are designed to run smoothly even at angles of 45 degrees.

If vibrations are felt during acceleration high chance it's the mechanical LSD aka limited slip diff is worn. If you dunno what it is...Google.

Either that or the differential gearbox. Shaft do not usually cause vibrations. It's the worn out gears that usually give out vibrations.

Thanks

been to Elite to check only the half shaft front left,  was told ntg wrong.

He was busy that day , and havnt check the front right.

The oil seals at the inner joint on both sides are leaking  ATF,

already bought  2 seals for both sides.

suspect problem in the half shaft though none of the mechanics said so

considering getting new original factory axle shafts (very pricey) but not guaranteed to solve the vibration /shake issue.

Had the 4 axle shafts serviced at other shop, middle of 2015 but didnt solve the problem

on standby to check and service, (last resort change)  the propeller shaft, in case changing the half shaft does not solve the issue.
