Prob is merc door has a spring and heavy if person opening door bo chup and dun control the spring alone enought to dent another car Liao. One reason to avoid parking next to conti not to mention the driver also abit kayu

My car had a big dent caused by lorry.. Didn't bother with it n didn't do anything. Until now no more dents.. Maybe other inconsiderate car owners see the dent so big felt I'm so poor thing and decided to be careful when they open their doors

Agree. May feel painful when a car is still new but after a while no more feeling. My car had all sorts of knocks and dents except bullet holes before scrapped.

Last time i park beside a new Audi also got a very deep scratch on my passenger door handle.

Even the Audi car paint stick on my door handle.

Some rich people don't care about dents or scratches they have the resources to fix it anytime.

Folks like me got to live with it till i accumulated enough dents then fix it at one go when i get my year end bonus.

Don't bet on this. I have had my car scratched when parked in such lot. No dents, but a long deep scratch.

What's wrong with Singapore drivers.... Was sitting in my vehicle today and a driver parked beside me.

 

When the passenger alighted, she made sure to open her door carefully. But however she open the rear passenger door and gave a good dent to my car.

My friend borrowed my car for few days and accidentally reversed into a tree,He has agreed to pay the repair fee.

 

I brought to a workshop and they quoted me 480 and 3 days at workshop, they will also respray and repair any other dents at the rear of the car

 

Can i know if 480 is a reasonable price for respray and repair?Thanks for your time and attention!

I think quite expensive and downtime also too long.

 

Maybe u can go a few wrksop ask.

IMHO, 3 days is alright for a proper job. 1 day to knock and putty. 1 day to sand and spray. 1 more day for touch up/polish. 480 might be on a high side though. I see this as a 300 to 350 max for this kind of repairs.
