He is not comparing apple to apple, which country's car price can be compared to Singapore? Our car price is at least 2 to 3 times higher than any country. So by comparing just parking fee alone is not the full picture of the cost of car ownership. What kind if expert is he? [rifle]

of course they will use other ppl's durian to compare our apple

No reason to increase.

Now got more cars parking at the carpark = more season parking sold = more profits to maintain carpark.

If they really increase = surplus go into their pockets or contractors doing unnecessary projects.

Correct, when i saw the article and that 'carpark expert; concluded that our parking fees here is way too low, i was like WTF! [rifle] I dont understand how come they like to compare sg pricing with those countries with super high pricing?! Whether it is parking, living of standard or public transport?! [shakehead]

How come i never see them compared our salary with those countries who is paying high salary due to high living standard, and that our salary in sg still getting pathetic pay le?

No choice, i guess the last price hike for season parking should be many many years ago. So when they finally announce to increase the price, they will use this reason by saying the last price hike is like 5-10 years ago, and it is time to increase price now. [rolleyes]

The whole season parking for homes makes no sense to begin with. Ppl pay so much for a flat and yet have to pay to park. I mean it's yr home and u have to pay to park. Ang Mohs can talk all they want about season parking in workplaces, those are prime commercial properties where businesses make money. Ppl should not mix the two together.

That's why, up with the PAPPIES.

Attention People of the WORLD!! Singapore is run under commercialism. We as the citizens of Singapore, don't have a single say in the laws, opinions and leaders who rule the country!

Do not be fooled and just come here just because they welcome you.

You will suffer in the end, just like the rest of us!!!

The parking expert is not wrong but he must factor price of cars in singapore.

If $600 parking in CBD can clear the jams, i accept.
