Turbocharged

It is with much disappointment that Valencia closed up the season with a 0-1 loss to Read Sociedad.

It is back to the drawing board as the board of Valencia and the management team look closely at the team's composition and decide how to re-organise and build a strong team for next season.

There are simply too many players in the football club, and while  many of them are talented, it is time to let go some of them and build a core team that can be depended upon, day in, day out, all season.   Learn a few tips from Leicester, the most admired top-flight football club for now.

Turbocharged

Four Valencia FC players, including the coach, arrived in Singapore this morning, to the warm welcome of a small crowd in Changi Airport.  They will stay in Singapore for a few days, to support a few events.

Valencia says it is on right path despite upheaval.

Nvr easy to run a football club as Peter would know by now. With FFP, u can't overspend or u will be penalised. On the other hand, be tight fisted n not getting in quality players may result in club fortunes spiralling n fans going against u so really tough to juggle.

Normal business sense n acumen is sometimes not applicable in the world of football. Valencia has a good, experiened coach in Pako so at least they are in good hands. Few more quality players Shld get them back into Europe which in turn earns them more money, make the fans happy n also attract even better players, good luck!!

Former Valencia defender Voro González takes charge

It is tough being a football coach.  The job is always on the line.  A good season does not imply another good season in the future.
