Actually, why does anyone here support any English club, be it Liverpool, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Leicester City ?

They are so far removed from here.

 

It's not like the club you support will make your life better, when they win the league.

 

Because football is like a religion. It gives hope when one is despair and brings joy when one is sad.

 

And distance has nothing to do with it because the 'gains" are mostly spiritual and emotional.
