I have copied and paste the team participants to include the latest FIFA Ranking for forumers to make some informed decisions.

As can be seen from above, the top 4 teams in terms of FIFA ranking as at May 2016 are:-

Belgium (2), Germany (5), Spain (6) and Portugal (8)

 

And the bottom 4 teams are:-

Slovakia (32), Iceland (35), Sweden (36), and Albania (45)

 

For those considering a punt, first-timer Albania may do a "Greece" this time round, who knows right?  Good luck.

If I have a chance to redraw the group, I would put Albania, Turkey, Croatia and Romania together. I want to see fighting on the pitch among the Balkan states  [laugh]

 

And the other group I want to see together is England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Wales  [:p]

 

If you want to see fighting on the pitch, all you need is Diego Costa.

 

No disrespect to Chelsea's fans but I like him a lot. Talented player.

 

However, he is easily tempted for a match on the pitch. :a-fun:

I was quite impressed by them in the last WC, losing narrowly 1-0 to Germany in q-final.

 

Their squad is also largely intact from the last WC, with the exception of Benzema's exclusion. Hugo Lloris and the defense looks ok, midfield looks competitive with Pogba and Payet who's having a great season with West Ham, not forgetting the monster N'Golo Kante. Upfront is also exciting with Griezmann who's having great season with A Madrid, and Kingsley Coman one of the best young wingers now. Only weakness I guess is cannot depend on Giroud as point man, as he's like-for-like replacement for Benzema.

 

Not to forget Anthony Martial of Manchester United. [thumbsup]

Jus extended my starhub sports package for 2 yrs n got euro2016 free. i recontract my internet to fibrebroadband n SCV in december 2015 but sports package can b extended for 2 more yrs to get free euro2016.... y pay $78 for early bird special..... wen can get free.

dunno, he might not be picked for the Euro

 

del Bosque might go for the younger Alcacer to pair with Morata (who is almost confirmed in the team)

England's hype is due to their powerful media and those who trawl their media do think of them favorably in general.

 

However, I love the unloved and castaway underdogs.

 

Hope some crazy outcomes from the bottom teams so that there will be more excitement.
