The price difference is actually 17k, which is quite alot. Exhaust is probably going to be muted anyway so can ownself change to dual more solid one.

As for the other gizmos, as a long term Alfa owner, can tell u this error tat error starts coming up after 5 years of driving. N the worst thing is the errors canât exactly be resolved. But if yr the drive few years type, then it shouldnât be an issue.

Anyway if u really want the car, even the discount is not ideal, u should just get it. No point getting another brand at 160k. The savings arenât significant n worse, u may not like the car.

It's definitely not 17k diff bro. Who provided this figure to you?

Anyway, I didn't get it also because it's not exactly an upgrade for my current ride. The Veloce is an upgrade, but out of budget.

I shall wait out a few more years and monitor the resale market. By then, approved exhausts should be available already

Can aim for second hand though. Alfa can’t hold value to save its life while the 240 and 430 will remain quite pricey.

Which is why I think the local dealer is mad for pricing them the way they do.

Its like they don't really want to sell the cars.

this is unsurprising as the giulietta has all the while been oddly priced too. the very same reason they can't really sell it.

but there r other factors, like the double clutch gearbox. now is a conventional auto. i think the giulia will see a slight improvement, tats it.

Apparently, the true selling price of the Veloce is 220K (after haggling).

Still a bit too pricey considering it's a new model entrant into Singapore, with a brand that's notoriously unreliable and with poor resale.

The Veloce is about 51k OMV.

At 220k vs 260? for a similar OMV 5er, I feel the pricing is not too bad.

But deep down I wish for <15k depre for the Super and <18k for the Veloce.

U are absolutely right. Was seriously considering a Guiletta some time back and all they could do is to give a $500 discount

Supersonic

Instead of talking rubbish like that, why not do more marketing?

I don't see their advertisings on the papers anymore and they don't participate in any motor shows.

And bring in more new models like Stelvio to capture more market share.

Is the dealer sleeping?

Alfa SE also told me italians are into driving, that's why there's no GPS for their head units.

The fact is how would GPS in any way diminish the joy of driving? To me it is just a sheer excuse for bringing in low specs model and attempting to smoke consumers.
