I think I totally forgotten my chili sisters, caca and coco.  [:p]  [laugh]

 

 

There were seeded on 22 march, this was taken on 18 April,

This is taken today, 14 May. they were slow to start, but the last few days seen them growing up fast.  [laugh]

update on my babies.  [laugh]

 

This was taken on 9 May. Alpha was 28cm tall, Bravo out grown Charlie, both abt 20cm.

This is taken today, 14 May, 5 days later, and now Alpha has grown to 40cm, Bravo and charlie are both about 30cm tall now. There was a strong breeze of wind this morning, so I got worried and started staking them . [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

Cai sim had 100% hit rate, all survive, but the lettuces seeded on the same day, none make it.  [:/]

 

Just seeded another 30 lettuces, hopefully got some can make it this round.  [laugh]

no lah bro, I dont stay landed. just happen to have some space. But you will be surprise how little space I use to do my planting.  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

 

I actually have space to grow some fruit trees also, which I am considering now.  ^_^

I also want to plant so many greenery, but my corridor lack of direct sunlight. Difficult to grow.

I let you know when the cai sims can be harvest, from the way they are growing, I figure anytime in the next 7-10 days, depending on how young you want them to be.  [laugh]

 

Actually this is my 2nd batch, I made some mistakes in the transferring on the 1st batch and many didnt make it. I didnt give up on the rest and finally manage to save some, and they are growing well too now.  [laugh]

about 10 stalks from the first batch left, but doing quite well now, I think can harvest soon.  ^_^

 

The lettuces, you just mentioned it, didnt hit me that could be weather too hot, I was still wondering is it seeds not good. 

 

If this batch no good again cfm is  weather too hot liao, mayb switch to kai lan next.  [laugh]

Try using some T5 lights (which is just normal florescent lights) , look for those with above 6000K day lights,  the spectrum of lights are good enough for plant grow. Best is no need high wattage, just adjust the height as the plant grow.  [thumbsup]  [laugh]  [laugh]

I tried lettuces hoping to grow my own salad.  [laugh]

 

And the plants are all organics, zero chemicals and no artificial fertilizer. . ^_^

Phew!

For a moment I thought it would be human poo & urine; which was used during kampong days. Wasn't uncommon to find semi dissolved toilet papers among the foliage of vege then.

We used to grow some veges when I was young living in kampong, but we only use chicken poo and urine from us kids.  [:p]

 

Actually even if I wanted to use human poo and urine also cannot, all the ammonia will wipe out all my fishes over night. [laugh]  

 

I am running on an aquaponics system.  ^_^

Mayb over the weekend sort out some space, see next week can plant some fruits or not.

 

In my list, papaya, mango, chiku, lime, guava, all dwarf. 

 

See after 4-6 months can barter for some banana or not.  [:p]  [laugh]  [laugh]
