more of a oval shape, usually eaten unripe, these days we can only get them very small, hardly can get in SG even.  When I was a boy, we could get them as big as a Chiku. Turns yellow and a little bit sweet when ripe,  [thumbsup]

My NS days, we still got chance to get some in LCK, quite a god send on a hot thirsty day, but not much juice tho. [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]

The trees grow very very tall... need to use few ladders to hook up...

But nowadays, I see people planting in pots, growing small fruits like longans.

the wild ones can grow very tall, but keeping in a garden usually i see as tall as a mango tree at most. My friend has one in her JB landed garden, 2 weeks back gave me a few, also not big, at most 5-6cm long only.

Those JB fruit stalls making juice ones also about that size, dont know is it harvest young or these days the fruit cannot grow liao.  [laugh]  [laugh]  [laugh]
