Yeah...n somehow, im not too confident pool can hold on to top 4.

Because Liverpool always self destruct against lower team?

MUST WIN all remaining 4 matches!

yup...seriously pool has the irritating habit of self destructing for many seasons already. so i really don hv high hopes when it comes to this kind of scenarios.

People are arguing that he should be taking bigger role.

stevie G isn't stupid. He's planning to slowly work his way up.

Before this, he was already offered jobs elsewhere much bigger than any youth or reserve side manager.

He already said no.

I hope he does a better job than ryan giggs who just thinks he absolutely deserve to be a premier league manager.

Been a legend, Liverpool will give him more room to grow.

now the u18 will not b winning anything  [lipsrsealed]

well i didn't expect much from gerrard when i saw him debut at 18-19 years old. Who knows what will happen in the future.

Just let him get used to the coaching and managing gig.

Manchester derby ended goalless.

Not sure if this is a good result as both could leapfrog us should they win their game in hand.....

I think its a good result as both drop 2 points.

Fellaini is a dirty player and its only a matter of time

before he got caught.  [thumbsup]

That's cos the famous Pool boot room which included Ronnie Moran and Roy Evans amongst others helped him tremendously and Dalglish could even afford to be player-manager at the same time. His second stint didn't have this kind of support and true enough, he was not as successful though to be fair, other factors contributed to this relative non success as well.

Well zidane is bucking the trend. He only retired few years back. And he already won the CL albeit with RM.

Diego simeone also made the transition to being manager rather rapidly.

Quite rare that an excellent player is an excellent manager.  Its usually one or the other.

Most of the top managers had terrible stints as players.   [laugh]

Relative non success is really relative.

That Mr Pep superstar manager has nothing to show for his first season in charge.

Mr Dalgish retired for so many years and out of the game has this to show for his first

season back the second time around.

:D
