So in summary, the dual clutch tranny is not suited for Singapore - hot weather, start-stop traffic, sudden decision changes when accelerating or slowing down on our congested roads & highways.

And especially the dry clutch, vs a wet clutch.

I think it all adds up for the VW 7-speed dry DSG, as seen in the masses impacted in SG, MY, CN and even AU in this part of the world!

are we sure all manufacturer dual clutch is like that.  

 

They are all similar la. Only difference would be whether is dry or wet and the way they program it.
