Parallel continuous yellow lines indicate no parking at all times on that side of the road where these lines are drawn except for the immediate picking up and letting down of passengers.

A single yellow zig-zag line indicates No Parking at all times on that side of the road where these lines are drawn except for the immediate picking up and letting down of passengers. Violation of this rule attracts demerit points and a fine.

Yellow Line = Can Park (only from 5pm to 7am)

Double Yellow Line = Cannot Park but can stop to drop/pickup.

ZigZag Yellow Line = Cannot park but can stop to drop/pickup.

ZigZag Double Yellow Line = Cannot park and cannot stop to drop/pickup.

i think this is correct.cheers! [drivingcar]

Maybe I got problem understanding road sign, maybe my England not that powderful... hmm...but it takes me quite sometime to get it right or wrong.. I still donch know :slow:

There's a new "No Entry" road sign on Fullerton Road towards Anderson Bridge ( the junction at Fullerton hotel), with another sign stated "For buses and heavy vehicles only". Then from Esplanade drive right turn to Fullerton road "No right turn" "For buses and heavy vehicles only"

So, the "No entry" and "No right turn" means...... car can enter or right turn or not? or the signage erected there 'For buses and heavy vehicles only" means not applicable for cars? [confused]

Obviously cannot turn into unless your vehicle is a bus (for tourists) or lorry (for deliveries).

Clementi also has no right turn sign except for public transit buses.

I see still car turning into that road...

For those road leading to bus interchange, the No Entry sign stated clearly "No Entry, Except....bla bla bla"

the word "except" is quite clear...

but this one "For ....." means the sign is erected "for" these vehicles or generally no entry, the road is "For Buses and heavy vehicles only"...quite ambiguous.
