Currently looking for a hatchback n back space not important..
Price not more than 140k..
Currently , already seen n tested the Alfa Giulietta QV 1.8l , BM 116d n Opel Astra 1.4..
Alfa got the best oomph(245bhp) .. Nice bassy exhaust n torquey.. But Hor , still can't get over my 33 experience..
BM n Opel also nice drive n torquey..
Actually waiting for SEAT Cupra n view it in the flesh..
Waiting for the agent pricing n also wat specs are they bringing in? If DSG dry clutch specs , will forget abt itπŸ˜“
Anybody knows when will they be starting business?
If compare wrongly , dun kpkb hor😁

Actually the ones you listed aren't really hot hatch. Just normal regular hatchbacks. Hot hatches are usually 6s century sprint or so.. like Golf R, Scirocco R kinda performance or at least GTI standard.

Nevertheless, other hatchbacks that fall into your criteria:

*Mercedes Benz A180/200

*Audi A1 Sportback

*Hyundai Veloster Turbo

Maybe i'm too out of touch, my impression of Volvo is more for comfort, safety & stability.

For $140k, forget these warm hatches and get a used 2014/2015 Mk7 GTi. Dilemma solved immediately.

power is good enough for my usage.
