That old friend was supposed to be special because he saved his life once.

Instead of repaying him, the driver arrowed his benefactor to send the old lady to hospital, which the latter would be in a difficult position to decline even if he has valid reasons.  What was in the driver's mind was to get close to the beautiful lady; inconveniencing others doesn't quite bother him.

If I were that old friend of the driver, I wouldn't even bother to save him in the earlier, very first instance.

He wouldn't even have the chance to live and drive in the stormy weather.

this qn is old..

the 'prefect' answer is to pass the keys to your friend to send the old lady to hospital.

and sit at the bustop chatting with the cb... ;p

except a two seater car would means the car can only be insured for name driver so you will be deem a risky and not detailed enough candidate ...

it all boils down to what the hiring manager is looking from his candidates . . . .

Leadership, Integrity, Teambuilder, Resourcefulness etc.

if these traits are all what interviewee should seek.... then he should:

- gather all 3 together for aligned solution as a team - Teambuilder

- prioritise whos worth the ride, i.e. what is critical, impact, urgency etc. - Leadership

- you seek consensus from 3 of them instead of putting yourself against others needs - Integrity

- you include the aged, the benefitor and the lust - Compassionate

- upon your discussion, there could be mobiles available to call for taxi, ambulances or assistants - Resourcefulness

ultimately, regardless of any results or impacts from the outcome will be unanimous decision that leave only the right but never the wrong - this is Leadership Behavior that stands among all.......

wow! isn't that a better answer in an interview?
