Hi,

Just got my Jade in August. Having some problem with the doors. Advice appreciated.

Problem 1.

Car locked. Remote in pocket.

Not able to unlock the door on the passenger side. Have to unlock the door from driver side.

Once unlock from driver side, then only can be lock and unlock from passenger side.

Once car locked, and walked away from car for 10 to 15 mins, cannot unlock from passenger side again (no response when holding on to the handle). Have to first unlock from driver side before the passenger side door work normally again.

Problem 2.

Boot door.

Almost the same as above but with additional problem.

Cannot lock with the button under the handle.

When I pressed the lock button, no sound, no light, no function.

When I pressed the unlock button, got sound, got light but cannot open the boot.

All doors able to lock and unlock using the remote control

Any bros with similar experience or can recommended workshop that can resolve the above issues.

Sorry to dig this old thread but I am having the exact Problem 1 on my Odyssey right now. Haha did you manage to resolve it? I am sending it to workshop tomorrow.

The workshop checked and suspected that the control circuit board is the source of the problem. Yet to resolve as they need to indent the required parts.

They checked the battery of the remote?

Is not the battery problem. I had checked and replaced battery on 2 remotes before sending the car to the workshop.

I had left the car in the workshop for 3 days for them to check thru the wiring and parts.

That was 4-5 months ago! My dealer's workshop couldn't identify the problem as well. Tomorrow got to send in again. Sign, my car is only one month old.

Btw, any bros got recommendation for workshops that are quite good on troubleshooting / repairing electrical components for Honda? I don't mind paying on my own. As my unit is a PI model, I doubt the dealer's workshop is specialised enough to troubleshoot such problems.
