If everything goes as planned, China's 2nd prototype space station will be later crewed by 2 astronauts in Oct on a manned-vehicle launch for a 30-day mission.

 

 

The fatter Tiangong-2 (TG-2) module in the top mount of Long March 2F rocket before being moved to a launch pad at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

After over 9 mins flight, TG-2 is now in initial orbital path with solar panels deployed

Launch vehicle LM-2 delivery and TG-2 deployment officially declared complete and successful under 20min.

The spacelab is now in orbit at over 300km above Earth
