Formula e is gay like radx

F1, don't blame us. It's gotten waaayyyyyyy too boring and doesn't mean squat to local car enthusiasts.

Just another overblown tourism moneypit.

Lemans, that's a race

It costs too much to hold, but brings in too little revenue. So, deficit! We tax payers are subsidising them.

Hey! If they care about environment, they should stop this instead of devising ways to clamp down on diesel passenger cars growth.

Moreover, it's creating too much inconvenience to other genuine honest business. It is almost impossible to book police escort for trucking of OOG cargo during this period. And my overseas colleagues complained bitterly that why we are putting them in seamen hotels instead of business hotels.

I think many people are now bored of the F1 night race here. There's only so many times you can see MBS and Flyer before the novelty wears off. The race itself has never really been that exciting either.

I've always thought Formula E would be much suited for our street circuit, but given our Govt's stance on EVs I highly doubt it will happen.

either host F1 or don't host F1

FE is a waste of time ... the money pour into hosting FE will give worse ROI compare to F1

Should be cost ba, to host formula e is less exepnsive then F1.

As what we see is like this, but maybe from the relevant agencies see is that it is a cheaper alternative and yet still can bring in tourist. They may also look at Hong Kong host formula e as a success. So well..

F1 has always been just a show piece to let the rich and cooperate big wigs gather, mostly at company expenses with the excuse of discussing business.

I support 100 percent.

Street circuits are boring anyway. Use the money to build a proper road course. It doesn't have to be F1 standard, we can host lower spec events and give space for locals to track and race also.
