Iphone Users Alert: Do not play this 5-second video

The iPhone-freezing video,  is a short .mp4 clip of someone standing by a bed with the words 'Honey' written across the screen. After playing the video, your iphone will lag and subsequently freeze. It appears to only crash devices when it's sent as a link.  The video is corrupt, generating a loop that causes the iPhone to crash around 10 seconds after watching it. Apple does not have a fix for this problem yet.

 

The only way to recover from the crash is to hold the power button and home button at the same time to perform a hard reset. An iPhone will work as normal once it has rebooted this way.
