Howto catch ppl who only scratch your rear sides of your car

Hi,

 

Can anyone pls advise how can I catch/video ppl who just aim to scratch the rear side of the car?

Any product out there which do so?? Both Front and back cam doesn't seem to catch them in action.

No ending one, esp if you park in open carpark. My boot cover was scratched badly also. After some time, I realised it was a cat zzzing on top of it. And mine is not the only car..

Resprayed once already so very sianz abt it. Anyone know which cam has the widest angle view?

If it is cat then fine, no choice. But side rear is obviously sicko ppl who do it.

leave it!  let the scratch be.  Like a sticker decor.  Its a sign that the scratcher either cannot afford the car you have, is sourgrapes, or has an inferior car, or is taking our world class transport system only.  That kind of feeling is already a punishment to these losers in life.

 

Be proud of your scratches, like battle scars from Vietnam War.  Last tum my chao ahbeng driving instructor teach me one.

Its a never ending battle, either you buy a sheet cover for your car but need to Everyday cover it..I've once had a similar situation as you, fixed a dent due to other people slamming their car door wide open then after 1 week I got another dent

 

 

Or you just suck thumb don't think about it too much

Got scratch got dents means you are one of the lucky ones that can afford a car..

Got scratches from sickos mean you are doing so much better than other people until they become so jealous and scratch your car.

Minor scratch & dent just ignore it.

 

My Vezel kena one long scratch from driver side door till rear at Jusco Tebrau carpark. [:(]

1st time kena such sicko people [mad] .....still pondering want to fix it not...

Got scratches from sickos mean you are doing so much better than other people until they become so jealous and scratch your car.

On a super jam Sunday night at JB checkpoint, I heard a prolong plastic stretching sound. I was shocked that a bobo driver was pressing his bumper on my rear.

 

I confronted him, took photo, he apologized. Eventually, I use touchup paint on the 6 inch by 2mm scratch mark and let it be. I don't want to be tormented by every scratch and den my car suffer and be a car slave. It's a gradual process of 'taking it easy' with a new car.

 

My car is 5mo, SLD*

Perhaps preventive measure - prevent/minimise people from scratching

- park properly/decently (see examples as in various stomp/parking champion)

- avoid irritating others eg drive recklessly, steal parking lots, impatient

- avoid parking at someone favourite lots, in front of his house (difficulty for owner to maneuver)

- follow laws/indiscriminate parking at handicapped/loading unloading/motorbike lots

- *own an old car/COE renewed/multiple dents/rust 

- *advertise photo below!

 

Accidental scratches

- near walkway (eg shopping trolley)

- near turning points

- choose single lot/corner lots

 

To catch culprits

- install 4 way cameras as u said front back failed to view (also preventive measures)

- park near camera/cctv/security personel

- park within your view if possible (eg top open floor of hdb multistorey carpark)

- * hide in the car/hide somewhere and catch red handed

 

Lastly, if all fails, i will take it as part and parcel of owing a car in cramp area like SG....small dent here and there is almost impossible to avoid after few yrs. ...relax, healthier, better blood pressure control
