well, company still kinda flex when come to punctuality.

you come late, you go home later.

but they do deduct salary if there's no overtime to offset.

overtime are considered every 15 mins interval.

overtime are not claimable..

Wah....

How do they monitor? Punch clock? My previous coy, they use a fingerprint system for morning attendance and cannot be more than 30 mins late. Must still work the necessary hours and mark attendance when going home.

This was only implemented 2 years after I joined them because some people spoil market.... Before that was always OTOT.

That's why Hui Ge says car-lite loh

If it were really working, you wouldn't see people in this thread complaining about the traffic jams already.

Car-lite is just all talk until they get the proper infrastructure in place.

Am I the odd ball here?

Traffic was unusually so light that even my gal doubted her school actually start today until we reach there to spot some students.

I even have time to la kopi before heading to work.

if car-lite's basis is not on how rich a person is..

thats true car-lite.

Bring back park and ride scheme.. enforce alternate days zonal entries regardless of wealth.

Did you contribute to the jam??

Yes I did but not as bad as if I were to drive.

I took a private hire bus (sort of like a sch bus) with max 10 capacity.

we need to clock in and out daily.

As for drivers, we go by our car IU.

last time, we do get paid for non managerial level, but the O.T pay is like $5 per hr for executive levels.

it was only till last nov, before the company revised the policy, as too many people abuse the system..

drive OPC, clock 12 hrs daily..

yard personnel can drive audi A4 but opc..

we start work early, like 725am till 5pm.

of course, company also fair.

instead of paying us for O.T, they actually give us a slight increment.

And should we require to come back for work on weekend, we still can claim mileage.

benefits for someone like me who stay far.
