Chevrolet Trax

Heard from one of the SEs in Alpine that the Chevrolet Trax is coming in this year. Any thoughts of the design and expected price? Will it be priced cheaper than some of the current popular Japanese compact SUVs?

Nice. I also heard the same thing but nothing concrete was given.

Looking at how Chevy priced their car, I'm guessing it should be in the range of 105k to 115k under this COE climate.

Hopefully more details will roll out soon

I think it looks quite ugly and outdated. Having tried to test drive its Opel cousin which should be the same size, I would say that it feels smaller than Vezel. Chevrolet cars are usually more spartan on the inside and fuel consumption is horrible. Unless the car is less than 90k, I would rather go for Vezel which is just a few thousand more.

Turbocharged

I find the Chevy Trax is quite nice and pleasing to the eyes

For me, it's the gaping mouth grille that's contentious, but I kind of like the look overall.

Seems like a nice spiritual successor to the Cruze if it sells as well as that did.

Spiritual in the same sense I see the Vezel/Qashqai as Civic/Sunny replacement  [laugh]

Neutral Newbie

This could be exciting! I hope that this Chevy Trax will be great in leasing too. Cannot wait to see it this year. But before that, I will just go first and ask my dealer, DSR Leasing, if they have any ideas about this Chevy Trax. Thanks for your post here. It gives me an exciting feeling to see and get the new Chevy Trax.
