If your lancer is the gdi version. It could be the best decision you've made...

Mine was the 1.6 GLX. It was a nice car but old car, like old people, gets worrisome as you get on in age.

This is a really impressive shot! Love it!

Turning 30 this year!

Very nice! How long have you had it? Kudos to you for keeping it all this while. Are you going to renew the COE?

Just saw this photo in my Flickr page. The mechanic (boss actually) was listening to my car with a long screw driver. If I'm not wrong, the engine mount was changed after that.

The Civic probably has the best headlamps that never turn yellowish or fog up over time. Ten years on and it still looks almost new.

I had the FD too, a wonderful car, and it was made from quality parts. Solid. Unlike the current Civic, with nasty plastic bits abounding..

VW Polo. came with stupid 14"  steelies and hubcaps. Threw those away and slapped on 16" VW Jetta wheels, i think it's prob the only one in SG running those wheels. Had to bring the wheels to an outside wheel shop to install because VW agent flat out refused to do it, they say won't fit!

Nice runabout car.

Yes, very reliable. I have never done a major service before, always change engine oil and filter only. The car has not break down before, partially due to my very low mileage.

Major change of parts was the engine mount, 1 time change of brake pads and aircon compressor.

2003 ES5 (7th gen Civic, before FD), Photo taken back in 2012 on the day of scrap. Trouble free car, only did the usual maintenance during ownership (skipped timing belt change though)
