Pasting on Dashboard

Hi gurus!

I was thinking of sticking a car model and some figurine on my dashboard.

But I understand that some methods will damage the dashboard or cause the dashboard to have 2 tones with the non-stick area.

Any advise?

TIA! :)

In event of accident, this can become lethal projectile. :a-noway:

According to physics, only if you get rear ended at a high speed... If you rear end someone the items will fly forward.

How big is your car model? If it's those small Hotwheels/Tomica models, nothing blu-tacks can't fix...

But it's bigger ones like 1:24 scale....keep at home better as it can be a potential projectile if your car impacts from the rear.

Also take note it doesn't interfere with airbags deployment...

Sidenote: Handphone holders are potential hazards too. One of my friend's phone flew and hit the side of his head during a spinout. Kena big "bao" and suffered concussion...

I do not place anything on my dashboard, not even sunglasses.

Do not want to have any potential distractions when I am driving.

Thanks for all the advise.

Mine is a mini tomica car and a thumb size charizard.

Mm. Think I may place them at front of my hear stick.

Will bluetack have any undesirable effect?

Any other methods I may ask? :)

Its an exaggeration that things stuck on dashboards

become missiles. I heard this from a man that got

struck so you can trust that he is speaking from

real experience and not just hear from people only.  [thumbsup]

I like to keep my dashboard tidy and clean ; I wipe it almost every 3-4 days with wet tissue, and starts from the steering wheel ;  Just don't like the sight of dirt and dust on the dashbboard and the same at work place too;  Its got to be neat and clean ..... and well hygenic too;

....  come I be frank to you...... I like to dig my nose in the car (very relaxing)  [:p]
