COE Bidding – 2nd Round of April 2017

The interesting Category to watch is Cat C for commercial vehicles.

My guess is it will drop by about $10,000+ -  to $35K.

Always remember;  the distributors are the ones controlling COE prices. <_<

Since several had reduced their vehicle  prices by $20K,  Cat C prices got to drop,  else the selling price cannot hold.

I agree but my prediction for CAT C would be between 35K to 40K, it won't drop 10K straight away.

CAT C now... $19010 with 355 bids received against 163 Quota (@ 3.09pm)

Interesting to see how this settle down ?

Looks like good for CAT C buyers this time to save 10 to 20K

It might!

Might even drop > $10K.

Bids coming in for Cat C are very subtle.

Other Categories seems following Similar to CAT C

Looking at CAT B now $35001 ...sharp lower bid

Looks Toto winners for this round buyers

Monitor Cat C – Bids are coming in in batches of 3, 5 and 10, but the price has remained constant at $20,100 since the 300th bid onwards (now 410 bids). Dealers are holding back prices and placing bids of $20,100 constantly.

This is clear evidence that COE prices can drop if dealers do not bid high and control the bid amount.
