Why was the pram there in the first place? and both adults in the car?? knn stoopid right to the core !

That is why all cars must comes with reverse camera.  Its an additional safety features and helps save life. But to lower the car price, these safety features are removed by car agents.

Car reverse sensors delays in beeping tone and we human tends to react much slower than seeing live object on the reverse screen.

is that guy already on the floor before the car chose to ignore and turned out?

agree... either way..

the best thing to do is try and capture the ''culprit'' carplate.. dont need to chase down..

endanger ownself... may get other people involved also..

and stop to provide assistance to injured guy on the road.

Been throught this kind of accident, I quickly used my car with hazard lights on and boot opened to shield the pedestrian lying on the road, others who stopped to find out "what happened ?" was told by me to chase down the culprit driver with my detailed descriptions of the car.

Old times without dashcam, TP wanted me to be witness attending court hearings.

didn't mention what happen to the man who kena knock down.

Video shows car knocking man down, refuses to stop despite being chased after
KAREN LIM ASIAONE  May 24, 2017

An incident that looks to be a hit-and-run case was caught on video this morning by another driver who tried to chase after the car in an attempt to stop the driver from fleeing.

Ms L. Tan, 36, was on her way to work at about 7.20am this morning when she saw a Toyota Prius knock into a man while pulling out of Surin Road onto Upper Serangoon Road.

The incident was captured within the first 5 seconds of her in-car camera video.

When Ms Tan saw that the driver did not stop to help the pedestrian, she tried to stop the driver by driving alongside the car.

"I honked at the driver and signalled for her to stop but she looked at me nonchalantly and continued to drive away," said the assistant sales manager, who even tried to stop her car in front of the Toyota driver.

According to Ms Tan, the driver looks to be at least 70 years old and had a small child in the back seat.

She told AsiaOne that she was not able to stop the car as the woman continued to ignore her and drove off. She then pulled over and called the police immediately.

Police have confirmed the incident along Upper Serangoon Road. They said that they were alerted to the accident and investigations are ongoing.

According to the Road Traffic Act, the driver of a motor vehicle must render assistance if involved in an accident that causes injury to any person.

If any person fails to do so, he or she may be found guilty and could face a maximum fine of $3,000 or 12 months' jail.
