like i said, any transfer involves both club and player

if what FT say is true in the below interview, do you still blame him entirely for leaving to the rival?

From another point of view, at least he left you with $50m pounds

yes i still hold it against him

by this reasoning, he was putting his self interest before the club

and going to Chelsea is to the direct detriment of LFC at that time (without hindsight)

you know there are many players who say that they will never play for another rival club after having been a liverpool player, these are the ones who have the red blood in them, these are the ones that supporters respect. egs: Agger, Kuyt, Hyypia, Suarez, Skrtel

With due respect, beside suarez, I don't think the top 4 wanted the rest

As for suarez, he did want to push through the transfer initially and was rewarded a new contract for it and a promise to leave the following season...so I won't say he entirely did it for the club and not personal

Personally, I will feel angry with the club or manager rather than player, for eg Cole transfer to chelsea, nasri transfer to man c, rvp transfer to man u. They could have managed it by offering them a improved contract earlier

We are now facing the same issue with ox, ozil and sanchez

Though preseason, good win nonetheless.

PC is class, whilst new boys Solanke n Salah bag a goal each.

Solanke could be a good acquisition.

Hopefully can get a couple of new faces in.

when fans hv harsh things to say abt a player who has left, it is not abt the price, not abt the age, not abt loyalty.....its abt how they left.

True that. We still spoke fondly of Suarez. Even Torres if we looked into the reasons under which he felt Pool. Edited by Latio2005A

Solanke looks better than Sturridge.

:D

Ings, Sturridge and Origi will certainly feel the heat now with the two new forwards in sparkling form in the preseason game.

Salah is definitely first team material. Solanke looks good to be the first choice in the Cup games.

My feel is that Klopp will start the season with Sturridge leading the attack and if he fails to score then Salad will be next in line.

Yep I still consider Torres to be one of liverpool's great forwards

Sterling I think most fans would jeer him still

nothing against sterling leaving. 48m profit.
