Pocus Turbocharged April 3, 2018 Share April 3, 2018 (edited) No stars today cos the full moon is in full force. I took put my telescope again. I was using my phone camera to take inside the viewer. This is the best shot I can do... Earlier while I was looking at the moon, I saw a bright star at the top right side of the moon. Took my telescope and saw this. (Apologize for the shaky image as very hard to take a short from the eyepiece) I suspect it's not a star as it's not glittering so I look at the constellation map and realised it's Jupiter!! The planet is indeed orange, color of my pic is off due to white balancing of the phone. My telescope can't see the red spot though. The small spots around it are it's moons. The moon on the left is Callisto The moon on the inner right is Europa The moon on the outer right is Ganymede Can't see the reddish moon Io. Cool!! Learn something today!!
