I can't seem to find accurate information on the Singapore Audi A3 1.0 2017, is it dry clutch or a wet clutch? I know there are various editions whereby in India is dry. Any advice pls?

If wet clutch, won't be this price. Anyway, dry or wet also got problem

A4 1.8 is a 7 speed wet clutch.

I think should be wet clutch only single digit % of failure vs dry clutch.

A4 confirm wet.

 

It's not less failure cos wet clutch known to wear out slower. But do note it's more expensive to manufacture. So in the end, financially no benefit.

At the end of 2016 Audi launched A3 Sportback, a variant with a new engine – a 1.0-litre, TFSI three cylinder petrol unit which makes 85kW/206Nm. Some of its interior features:
  • 7.0-inch display and media unit with sat nav
  • rear view camera
  • eight-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth connectivity
  • parking sensors, cruise control, stop-start system
