IMHO, AWD not a need in SG, more of a want.

With the higher CG of an SUV, AWD is even more of a good to have to improve the road holding especially going round turns and curve in wet condition.

If you take the SUV up North, you will appreciate the AWD even better across their potholes, patchy Road repairs, sandy/muddy B roads.

BMW won me over because of their In-Car Tech.  I find their "Live Traffic" to be very useful.

Phone App allows you to send your destination to your Car Sat-Nav.

Concierge Service is free during 1st 3 years of ownership.

The X3 N20i engine has lots of tuning options which could easily "tuned up" the power.

Live traffic need to pay subscription. Expensive.

Phone App to send location also need to pay, after first 3 years.

New X3 is not using the N20 engine. B series engine, no direct flash tuning available right now. Only piggybacks which IMHO are crappy.

For me, the 699M 20" rims on the M-Sport version was not too bad.  The OT has improved from the time that I made a pre-booking - it was only $5k then - but the price was also lower.

The "official" line given to me was that the SUVs are not bread and butter models.  High OT not required to move stock, until I suppose mid-year or year end targets have to be made.

Live Traffic cost $150 for 12 months, IMO is reasonable. Taking into consideration that most other Marques are not even able to offer this service. Useful for me, but if you don't use it, then it will not be worth it.

$180 for 24 months of Map Update which others charge up to $800 for Map Update.

I was not charged for the Phone App.
