SE said that mine would arrive in Oct. and as much as I hope AA being available, I shan't hold my breath on that - cos' members in other Mazda forum (mazdas247) have already given up on this hope  [dead]

Any chance you are able to share some pics on your CD Phone Mount?

Thanks a lot

I got mine from Aliexpress less than US$3...opt for free delivery

Thanks a lot, Dcb and Sparhawk699... Appreciate it !

I was also looking at this wireless charging mount that would be available soon..... y'all might be interested if your phone could do "Qi" charging :-)

Bro, I recommend this one - cheaper. https://www.xvida.com/products/wireless-charging-cd-slot-mount

Or you can get this from aliexpress.  https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Car-Wireless-charging-phone-holder-CD-export-phones-and-outlets-phone-holder-General-mobile-phone-navigation/2792021_32785203854.html

I dun recall seeing cigarette lighter slot in our CX5, so the scosche will not work.

Planning to get a similar but larger one to mount tablet.

Can replace the headunit by connecting via Bluetooth at a fraction of the price than to change the whole headunit.

There usually a button or a screw to push the holder clip up, dun worry, it will not destroy the CD player, you can still play CD

Not sure if locally is available, but I purchase from aliexpress for less than US$3...which is about 4 bucks with free delivery, and fast delivery too.

what do you recommend?

You can also try this Metx Fuel Conditioner. I normally just put one third of a bottle as a whole bottle becomes too powerful and wasteful. Metx also have a lubricant engine oil treatment but I am only recommending the fuel treatment.

By the way, the Metx Engine Metal Treatment is probably dangerous to use in your engine as it will corrode your engine. So please refrain.

Hi Bros, I'm looking to buy a Mazda MX-5 due for Scrap/COE renewal.

I'm a Direct Buyer here looking to take over and renew COE myself, and taking care of the Baby. Skipping the ridiculous dealer fees..

Please PM me.

Neutral Newbie

After experiencing i-stop malfunction, strange clicking sound when starting to drive, blue-tooth malfunction, my newly bought Mazda 3 1.5 L got another problem today, When I changed to D gear and tried to drive, the car just was stuck over there. My first thought was there could be some barrier in front of the tyre. I came out of the car and inspected, nothing over there. This happened in a normal HDB car park. So i got in the car and shifted the gear to R, trying to reverse, but it did not move as well. There was no alter sound, no indicators on the panel. Then i shirted to D gear again, pressing the gas harder, this time, car moved, but accompanied by a very loud "bang" noise. Sounds like something broken. When moving, a rubbing sound occurred at fixed interval, around 1-2 sec, i suspected something wrong with either the handbrake or the brakes. I drove the car to the road, feeling it was much heavier than it was used to be. Anyone got the similar problem?  It seems that reliability of Mazda 3 is not as beautiful as its look!

Sounds like a mechatronic problem. What oil are you using and what filter? How many KM have you travelled?
