ER-3682 Twincharged May 23, 2018 Share May 23, 2018 In term of servicing, anyone knows how far different compare to 1.5? Not much,if can afford the 2.0,should not be a problem...for Mazda 6,2.5 & 2.0,servicing costs about the same. ↡ Advertisement

Does servicing involve brakes bleeding and brake fluid change. If so, maybe job not done properly. or else just your feeling

Victor68 Turbocharged August 10, 2018 Share August 10, 2018 Hi evryone. Planning to change my standard mazda 3 HU to the 8” Aftermarket LCD touch screen. Any recommendations? TIA mine was upgraded by AD as part of the deal except without the knob next to the brake, if you know what i mean. I am ok with it except 2 issues. 1) the handphone bluetooth volume cannot work.. they tried 3 times still cannot but not a major issue. i dont use it. 2) the screen always hang if you try to activate it before it settle down. you must wait till it is stable before you can try anything. once hang, you got to off engine then when you restart, it is back to normal. however, last week, it totally hangs. screen hangs but everything still works. i send in my car for servicing and hope they can fix it. I heard the same comments on the forums. I also heard that the aftermarket 8” LCD headunits are actually from taiwan and it is made based on the Taiwan M3 specs. Taiwan M3 dun have the phone buttons on the steering wheel, reason why SG M3 owners complain that buttons not working after install. Headunit simply not support these buttons... No mine can answer calls but volume is extremely low. if you increase volume, then when the phone is off, the radio volume is too high. This is a small problem since I bought a Bluetooth headset. 8" screen is useful with reserve camera and you can also play video via thumb drive connected. Touch screen also useful with selection of radio channels. GPS is not great because sometimes it brings you to 'Holland'. I think Google Map is better. 7janjk Neutral Newbie September 26, 2018 Share September 26, 2018 (edited) Any expert workshop can recommend? I am having very big issue here. Sent to 5 workshop cant seems to help. Spend 1k++ already. Loud road noise so i change 4x bearing as 1ws claim my back bearing wearing out and it come in pairs. Then say front also wearing out soon so i out of anger change all. After change still have then now blame tyre. Tyre i change primacy 3 used 40k km at that point and only 6mths old. So i dont believe is tyres. Bring to afew more ws all say is tyres so Bring down to AL tyre cause i change there they say my tyre of out shape. But due to bad studs or bearing which causes it. Claim that no point changing new tyre now as same noise will be back. Ask me to come back next day for the technician to check next door as it was late. So i bring down to the same ws which change my bearing to change 4 absorber(kyb). Ended up workshop never discuss which type i want. Got air one.1 ws also claim air one very bumpy. But mine is extreme like put coilovers. After all done happily thought problem finally solved so change new tyre primacy 4. Who knows nothing improve. Got worst more bumpy then ever before. Every uneven road got toktoktok sound. But 1 of the workshop say primacy 4 is noisy based on the treads. Anyone confirm? Lastly sudden lost of power gear 1 to 2 like lesser energy like before. Not sure is sparkplug or what. Just service and change atf today still same. Need rev higher then can change gear 3. Any recommendation? I use to drive grab, per day 400km++ with this type of feel im gonna go crazy. Car left 1 year. But due to long usage i dont mind getting it solved even of expensive but many conman outside. P.s all the engine oil i used is good one. Not those promo 58$. Used motul castrol etc. Mazda 3 BL 1.6A 2010. Front studs - mizuno 20k km used Back studs - kyb 20k km used Sparks - denso iridium 20k km used 4x bearings - 20k km used Primacy 4 - 10k km used. Abv is what i have changed so far. Everything is stock. Got the car this year jan. June onwards problem start to come. Planing to go JDM autocare. But see their facebook all on bodykits. Worst to worst gg eurokars check which cost $180 to check only. Got a few anwser from web maybe stabilizer bar bushing or CV joint which causes it.
