Leo72 6th Gear October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 CNA just reported train service resumed. It's going to rain again soon. What'll happen if it rain again for a few hours? Flood again?
Jellandross Supersonic October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 From now on we will have a new type of notification. Disruption of service due to tunnel flooding (not related to train fault and also not related to new signaling testing and last but not least not related to incompetent senior management). At least notification not so monotonous nowadays.
Kyrios Turbocharged October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 i have bad feeling like this is just the beginning of train problems entering a bigger scale. When problem involves water due to normal weather in civil and electrical infrastructure, the impact usually cascades far and wide, as it means some major barrier was breached and back-ups failed. Some kind of tipping point. I wish commuters, and smrt workers, all the best. Water proofing failed..or spalling concrete... will the water corrode the reinforced steel rebars...leading to structural collapse? Many questions for the pappies to look at... SCDF always come in to clear up the "shit" that others created kudos to SCDF Wont be surprised if it is a few NSFs doing the work... again.......so that FTs and Pinoys can have their train rides into Orchard Road on their Sunday off day.. Tohto Hypersonic October 8, 2017 Share October 8, 2017 Till now there is still no explanations on why the flooded water get into the tunnel. The tunnel suppose to build to prevent flooding water due to rain to enter. We don't have major storm like typhoon.
