Not so sure..but for financial insurance agents who sell investments products possible. Need very big fish to support.

 

Property agents also possible for those established in market some time.

Doctors - life and death.. some knife very sharp, but good diagnostic still ok. Cut wrong meat we don't even know.

 

property agents, car agents, insurance agents, the most make you lose money but you can use the law to go after them and recover the losses.

 

Doctors misdiagnose? Try to prove that...

 

I usually only use 1-2 agent for insurance and property don't need many bec I can read the contract and do my own homework..

 

doctors tell my loved ones they have this and that condition, I spend money bring see 3-4 doctors first then decide on treatment.

 

Difficulcult to trust doctors instantly as they deal in life and death which is more important. I believe money can always make back.. but I only have 1 head, 2 eyes, 1 heart 2 kidneys and 1 life.

 

The only exception are doctors that I know become doctors bec they want to heal.. I know them and trust them but they are a GP or specialists in one discipline..

 

Too many especially in Singapore become a doctors with the aim of making big bucks.

 

Nothing wrong actually but they forgot, once they are really good and people trust them knowing they are good, they will make big bucks..

 

new professional that started with the big $$$ sign in mind usually not that good but appear to be damn good.

 

Same as agents, or any professonals. Allbof them who started with the mindset of making big bucks all sucks. All who started with the right beliefs are usually better and will eventually be comfortable eventually.

I always find it amusing when such post come about making judgmental comments ones financial status and the car they drive, why not you post what car you drive and your net worth so we can better judge if we should even entertain your 3 questions?

 

 

I was introduced to the cars in showroom and salesman was professional but Little did he knew that I read in between the lines of what was said....

Did u know that the showroom is "split" into 2? On one side is the true DNA of Mercedes benz, rear wheel drive, luxuriously finished, made in Germany, the c class, e class ..... and above.

On the other side are the "cheap" ones, meant to compete with Japanese. A & B class and their variants. To cut cost, it's front wheel drive, made in cheaper countries, quite a lot more plastic being used in the car etc. Target market are the "cannot afford MB customers" but die die want to buy young buyers.

Just find it amusing. Anyway MB, are generally well engineered and SAFE.


3 financial questions to clear b4 buying luxurious car:
1) Protection: Hv u got adequate insurance ( life, hospital, accident, critical illness)
2) Retirement: Do u hv enough to retire (bet u don even know how much u need)
3) Investment & savings: what is your networth, do u make regular investments.
.... and legacy planning if u consider bequest for yr children


If people plan financially, there will far less imprudent splurge on luxurious cars.
