In the Soviet-era, people don't just go out and find a job. The party decides for you what job you will do, where you live, what you will eat and how much you can eat. The party may even decide who your wife will be, what clothes you will wear, what you will say, and what you cannot say. What kind of movies you will watch. What kind of songs you will listen to.

As I said, when people tells me that CN is no longer communist, but a capitalist country I have to correct them. What CN practice today is sometimes called "state capitalism". In such a system, the party still rules over all. By the CN law, it is mandatory for a private company, a private hospital, a NGO, even a temple, a church, to have a CCP unit. This requirement has also been recently tightened.

Having said that, like the DPRK WPK, the CCP is not exactly Marxist-style socialism. And there are better examples of socialist policies in Scandinavian countries, with fairer distribution of wealth, free healthcare, minimum wages, etc.

One could say, it is not very different from imperialism with the lack of an institutionalised dynastic rule. There been some interesting comparison of Qing rule vs CCP rule. Emperor Kang Xi scrapped the powers of Grand Council (è°æ¿ç大è£æè°, a cabinet of senior ministers and advisors), and gave himself absolute powers. 300 years after Kang Xi, some things didn't change.

Ya.

Simple.

China the politics is communism but the economy is free market.

Opposite to Japan.

Japan the politics is democracy but the economy is centrally planned.

If a department of finance official tell the banks to prop up the

stock market no bank will say no.

I would also like to say I am against democracy.

I believe one women should make all the decisions and

that women should be me.

:D

Its OK if people disagree with me and think it should

be them. I can see their point of view and respect their

decision.

Was he paid or funded?

Or was he really speaking from his heart?

Most of his YouTube videos seemed to speak up against the general direction of Western politics.

But again China current system was not like the imperial system that existed thousands of years.....

Though the absolute power of the current system is similar to imperialist system.
