Supercharged

X1 never have Xdrive.  ONLY Sdrive.

For X2, grab it.  M sport X drive is 6.4k EURO option.

I doubt that it is X2 is Xdrive.  If it is, all the more should grab it.

X1 never got any Xdrive.

SMLJ is sDrive?... I thought it is xDrive just glorified name for their AWD (just like Quattro which is just Torsen LSD + marketing gloss)... so if have AWD, BMW marketing talk will say it have xDrive.

why sDrive... sound Audi. should be mDrive.... LOL

Audi Q2 sales may probably give an idea how well this may sell here.

Q2 is 1.0 3 cylinder or the 1.4 ?

Anyway, its way too heavy to be lug around with an anaemic engine.

2.0T BMW got work around piggy back to boost the power

The pricing is a bit of a stretch and a Tiguan may be a better option.

But dont have bragging rights with the BMW keys at the kopitiam table to woo the beer lady      [dizzy]

those BM diehards will tell you skip this x2 and go straight to x3, if one can afford a beemer

It depends on personal preferences and needs though - sometimes I prefer to drive my X1 even though I have access to my parents’ GLC if I don’t need to ferry ppl around.

was the X1 rear wheel drive version really that bad in terms of reliability?

Heard the hard sell for the x1 FWD sales was mentioning with the new gen, no more problems.

Mm, no idea. Mine is the second gen FWD one, still working great after 1 year.

In terms of specs and trims, x1 n X2 are one class below X3 which is skewed towards 5 n 7 series. Even the m- sport steering wheel on the X2 belongs to previous gen.
