Ok. Just installed this model. So far so good. Despite that this is a US model, it is still able to switch to 100hz steps to receive local radio stations.

CarPlay and Android auto is connected via USB only.

The only problem I had with this unit set is the parking brake , which Alpine had for safety purpose. The setting icon will only appear only when the car is stationary and parking brake applied. When Installed in my car, the setting icon didn’t appeared despite my car is stationary. Hence, require to custom installed a bypass switch to disable the safety lock to access the setting. This is small issue for me as I dont need to constantly access the setting once everything is set durIng initial setup.

Overall, a neat Alpine headunit which supports CarPlay as Well as Android auto...best of both world!!

Hi,

Do you know if iLx 207 allow to have an Android mobile connected through USB and while using Android Auto just for media and maps have another phone connected through bluetooth for phone calls?

My idea is to have a Android mobile with data SIM only permanently connected to use Android Auto Maps, Spotify, etc, while having my day to day iPhone used for hands-free calls using bluetooth.

Frankly, I didn't tried before but I only use Apple Play as I uses IP.

The connectivity is via USB hence, if you use Android Auto or Apple Play, you can only one type at a time for this set.
