The bm version priced quite reasonable la... It's not like camry 150k, prius hybrid 160k, altis $110k or Vios 85-90k

Personally I think Toyota will still retain the top spot. The Koreans still have a lot to catch up

I think what he mean is that some people cannot tolerate some thing not functioning or spoil in the car.

They die die must find a way to repair it thus becomes extra cost.

Same like auto folding mirror not working.Why must repair?Just manual fold settle everthing,right?

Like my previous car,power window spoil.Just take a wire and tighten it and don't/cannot wind down the window anymore,lol.....

I seriously think that is why there are so much more Korean (and Mazda (or even Subaru),to a limited extent) these days as they don't want to spend so much for almost equal reliability and sacrifice on features.

U will be surprise there r still many ppl who die die only buy Toyota. They still not aware that many brands have already catch up or even better than Toyota, they can tell u all the outdated information abt cars

Have you diy repaired or opened up a toyota vs some other brands? Toyota design is still tops. The quality of the Japanese made cars are still a notch higher than the rest.

Yes,JDM is good.

Last time, I compared a vios to an Axio.

In the Axio,you get all powered windows with one touch up down function,a more well sculpted interior and soft touch dashboard and padded armrests.

In the vios,you get none of the above.

So, definitely the care and attention placed in such cars makes them top notch

 

But now,with so many 1.6L cars priced at near 85k,no,I would not buy it (Axio)as I think it is a poor attempt to improve the car(making it worse as compared to the 2009 model) and is too pricey for its bare bones features.

But base on my observation cos own 3 Korean cars before.Their plastic like door panel and dashboard get scratches more easily.

Yes,they do.

Their dashboard is as good as Japanese.(soft touch)

However,even though they improved,but I think Elantra door panels are slightly cheap... unlike K3
